Today we invited Ibrahim into school for a special assembly - The NED show. The theme included:
N - Never give up
E - Encourage others
D - Do your best
The performance included a number of yo-yo tricks. Ibrahim shared that while yo-yoing is cool and simple, it's not always easy. Everyone who learns to yo-yo will make mistakes along the way. The children were told that if they try yo-yoing, it's important to learn from mistakes and never give up.
This is an important message for all our learning. If you persist you will find great fulfilment in doing your personal best. Growth mindset is one of the things we recognise when giving GEMS in school.
