The Big Help Out

Before the coronation of King Charles III, our House Captains set a challenge for the children in school to take part in the Big Help Out at home. This could be helping your family with household chores, supporting other family members or helping in the local community. Children were asked to record what they had done in writing or with a photograph. Today the House Captains found out that many children have been making a difference with their Big Help Out activities.

We had children who had prepared food at home, washed the dishes and tidied the table. Some children got handy, making a mud kitchen in the garden. Caring for the environment was a priority with others taking part in recycling, gardening, litter picking and taking care of animals. Some children even raised money for charity by selling plants and loom bracelets. I am incredibly impressed and proud of the many things our children did to help out and make a difference.
