Tennis Competition

On Tuesday, our Year 3 tennis team participated in an exciting inter-school competition at Poleworth Sports Centre. The team, consisting of four enthusiastic children, competed in three matches each against four other local schools. Although the team did not come out victorious, they showed great spirit and determination throughout the competition.

 

Inter-school competitions are an important part of the additional experiences offered at Wood End Primary. These events would not be possible without the dedicated support of our staff and parents, for which I am always grateful. Looking ahead, we are excited to participate in more competitions throughout the Summer term, including football and athletics. We are proud of our students' commitment to sportsmanship and teamwork, and we look forward to seeing their continued growth and success in future competitions
