Junior Road Safety Officer Assembly

This week our new Junior Road Safety officers delivered their first assembly to the whole school. They needed to overcome their nerves to deliver the important message of how to cross roads safely. The children used role play to highlight the importance of "Think, stop, look, listen, think" when crossing the road. Learning to cross the road is an essential skill for all children, and I am so proud of the effort they have put into their first assembly. Following the assembly, the Road Safety Officers have organised posters to be displayed on the gates, serving as a constant reminder to the children as they leave school.
