Parent Workshops for Spelling

Spelling workshops

This week we invited parents and carers in to work alongside their children in a mini spelling lesson.

The school changed the way we teach spelling last year and this was a great opportunity to explain more clearly the changes that have been made.

Parents and children participated in the spelling activities, learning about etymology and morphology. They also used their logins to play spelling games on the iPads.

Thank you to all adults who attended these sessions and we hope your child has fun with their spellings at home and this has an impact on how your child spells words every day.
