On Wednesday, our school took part in cross country races at the Pingles Stadium involving many schools from the North Warwickshire area. We had children take part in the Y3/4 race and Y5/6 race. Some of the children who attended were nervous about this new experience and apprehensive about taking part. Despite this, they overcame their nerves to represent our school and as a school we couldn't be more proud.
Every child did their best and did not give up. They all represented Wood End brilliantly and have shared that they feel they did their best and are justifiably proud of their achievement. Representing our school in a competition also awards these children tokens for their House Team so well done to our Cross Country team and to the parents who supported this event.
