On Wednesday morning, our year 2 children participated in an Infant Agility event at The Polesworth sport centre. They joined local schools to take part in a series of tasks, including running, jumping and throwing.
The children represented Wood End brilliantly, trying their best in each event. Our children were noticed for their resilience and determination to try their best. It was great to see all the year 2 children come together to compete as a team.
When they returned, the children were proud of what they had done, I heard that one child threw a javelin over 15 metres, further than anyone else.
Throughout the morning the children supported each other and encouraged their friends to do their best. Thanks to Mr Chape for organising this event and the staff members who joined the children to make this possible. Finally, thank you to Year 2, who shone at Infant Agility!
