Guiding Lights - Arboretum

Guiding Lights Workshop

On Thursday the children in Otter Class took part in a Guiding Lights workshop delivered by the National Memorial Arboretum. They learned about acts of remembrance and the work of the NMA in remembering, sharing examples of the memorials at the Arboretum. This weekend the country will come together to remember service men and women who have served and sacrificed in service of our country. This is also an important time of reflection at the National Memorial Arboretum.

The children took part in an art activity which will be used to create an installation at the Arboretum later this year. I cannot wait to see what they have created. Wood End Primary have been working closely with the National Memorial Arboretum over the past two years with workshops in school and visits to their site. I would like to thank the staff for spending time with Otter Class, providing valuable experiences for our children
